Alex Isaak is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she manages events, marketing and media relations at the University of Tulsa’s Oklahoma Center for the Humanities. On top of her full time job, Alex also serves as Board Secretary and Marketing Director for Tulsa Shakespeare Company, which produces exceptional staged works of early modern and classical theater to enrich the culture of Tulsa and the surrounding area.

Previously, she produced the 5 p.m. newscast at KOTV - News On 6, the #1 station in the market. She worked at the station for four years while co-producing the Talk Film Society podcast Dream a Little Deeper, a critical retrospective on the Walt Disney Animation Studios Films.

Throughout her career, Alex has had a hand in producing hundreds of live newscasts, short documentaries, podcasts, and other audiovisual web content. She is also a photographer and social media content creator. Even before she knew she wanted to be a producer she enjoyed coordinating creative projects at a young age. She began producing in elementary school, when she wrote the script for her school’s Monday Morning Video.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Alex also has worked for the BBC, TEDx, FleishmanHillard and NASA Johnson Space Center. Outside of her work, she enjoys hikes, performing in local community theatre shows, and cooking for friends and family.
